Publsihed Project can no Longer be Opened

Hi,

I have a published project that I can no longer open from Project
Professional 2003. When I try to open it from the PWA server, I get:

"The file "<> \File Name.published" cannot be opened."

I can see that the path in MSP_PROJECTS is correct and when I try to open
it, I can see that the system is trying to check the file out.

Any ideas out there?

Brad,

Are there any other errors or messages? Is it just this one plan? Is it checked out by someone? How important is this plan to you? If you absolutely can't lose it then you probably need to try to recover it from a backup. Is there a local file version that you could re-import to the server? If so, go to PWA Admin and delete the current one then re-import it.

Sorry about all the questions but with project server nothing is as simple as "if this, then that"!! ;>)

Hi Earl,

I have since removed the project, re-installed PWA and I am now trying to
recover from a saved local copy.
