Pulling Address from Goldmine

Hi,

I have an order form that has a customer data field and I want it t
pull the name and address from GoldMine and put it into that fiel
automatically.

I got it to work in Word with this field: DDEAUTO GoldMine Dat
&NameAddress \*CHARFORMAT \* MERGEFORMAT

Any Ideas?

Thank you much

If goldmine exposes an ODBC interface you can use a parameter query in
Excel. Here are some instructions for Access, but I suspect you will find
Goldmine in the list, if not ask your vendor for the ODBC driver, load it
and it will. You will need to query on the customers key field, probably
CustomerID or similar

Hey thanks for that tip.

I was able to get the driver up and excel now detects GoldMine. Wha
should i put int he field to get it from there

I put CustomerID but it just comes up as text.

Sorry if this is a simple question.

Thank you
