I frequently have to pull equipment histories , test reports ( some are
..pdf, Excel, Word , Project etc) by locating files by searching for file
names with the correct serial number or other identifier on separate drives
on our LAN ( thru Windows explorer) and also from a custom data base that
requires a log -in thru our company LAN portal and then inputting serial
numbers etc; then pulling up the files and then copying to a report folder
and also printing hardcopy. This is a repetitive activity and I would like
to know if I can develop a macro or similar tool that takes several serial
number inputs and yanks all theswe docs into one folder AND prints out all
or only specified ones.
