Purchasing an Office Suite for a New Computer

D

I just bought a new computer - apparently the basic office products have to
purchased separately these days...can I purchase a suite product somehow
(on-line preferably) and put it on all 3 of my home computers (they're
wirelessly networked) or do I have to purchase 3 separate products?

Thanks a million for any help!

I don't recommend an online purchase of Office. Go to your favorite retailer
and purchase a box with your installation CDs, product key, and support from
Microsoft. This includes downloading a trial version and purchasing it as
well. It actually costs you more to download and purchase the trial version.
<sigh>

As for whether you can install Office on 3 of your home computers depends on
which edition of Office you purchase. For example the Home and Student
version allows for installation on up to 3 computers. Are you interested in
a specific edition?

They always have been separate, no change there.

Best bet for good prices is probably Amazon.com.

If you want to run on three computers you'll need the Home and Student
edition but you may not want it as it does not have Outlook.
