I have Outlook Express now but I want to replace it with a stand alone email
program. I assume that Outlook is the way to go??? If thats true can someone
tell me if it will integrate with all of my current information and by that
I mean will it copy over all of my sent mail, received mail, folders,
addresses, etc. etc.?????
Thank you in advance, Catt

Yes, you can export everything from Outlook Express into Outlook.

You know that OE *is* a standalone mail program, right?

Hi Sue,
I'm glad you asked me that. Yes, I know its standalone but I could find no
place in Microsoft.com to purchase it as a standalone and I assumed that
Msoft's answer to that is "Outlook" . The reason why I'm asking is that I'm
having alot of problems with OE and my web provider "strongly" suggested that
I get the program because there have been many issues with the software that
comes with XP. He said I should either go with the SP2 (at my own peril) or
buy an email program. Can you guide me further???? Thanks so much.

Outlook Express isn't available for purchase because it's free as part of
Internet Explorer.

You definitely should install Windows XP SP2.
