"Purge Deleted Messages" bug

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

Entourage 12.1.5 with multiple accounts (one corporate exchange, one IMAP).

The bug seems to be, when clicking from account to account (e.g. via the nav bar), the "Purge Deleted Messages" option in the Edit menu doesn't show up consistently when clicking on the IMAP acct.

ctrl-click on the account itself on the left hand bar still shows it, and funnily enough, I uses Spaces as well and if I switch "spaces" it will reappear, so something about context switching isn't working right in the Entourage window.

Fixable? Reproduceable? thx, j

Fixable? I dunno. But reproducible? Yes.

I'll pass this along to the Entourage developers. I doubt it will get
fixed unless it's very easy to do and won't impact other parts of the
application. Because the folks at MacBU are working on the next version
of Office and this bug doesn't seem to cause data loss then it probably
won't be a high priority for them.

Maybe, though, it can get fixed for the next version of Entourage.
