Purpose of Data Access Page?

Hi,

I hope this doesn't seem like a stupid question. What is the purpose of a
data access page? It seems to me you can accomplish a whole lot more with
forms. Data access pages have many limitations. What would be an example of
when you would want to use a data access page over a form?

I have just started looking into utilizing Access on the web. So, are you
saying that you cannot utilize forms on the web, only data access pages?

OK, thank you for your reply. I guess I will need to learn alot more about
data access pages if I want to set somethig up on the web.

And to be honest, you haven't had much in earlier versions, which is probably
why Micro$oft decided to do away with them! Few professional developers were
using them; most people needing an internet database presence having migrated
over to
asp.
