Put up nice looking website quickly - buy template?

I had a decent looking website 5 years ago that I built in FrontPage. I
then shutdown that company while working for other companies. I am now
setting up shop again. I have written my copy and collected the graphics
I will be using. I am tempted to purchase a dwt based template so I can
quickly deploy this site yet take advantage of dhtml style menus etc.

I have just finished finished reading "Using FrontPage 2003" and have
browsed many sites mentioned in it. Some of the templates I saw look ok.
I realize that someone might recognize my sites look but over time I
will personalize or build a new site to my own specs when I have time.

Any pros or cons that you can share would be appreciated.

Doug,
The odds of someone seeing two of the same website template are
pretty slim given the total number of websites out there so that's on your
side. Also, if you're good enough, you can really personalize that template
keeping the overall feel, but distinguishing yourself from those who just
use it and fill in the blanks. With some templates you may want to move some
things around or decide not to use a particular section of text or graphic.
All sorts of little tweaks like that will help to distinguish it from other
template customers. When it gets down to it, if you can get clean
presentation that appeals to your customers and makes them happy, they won't
care where you got the design from.

Hope this helps,
