Putting E-mail Addresses into Excel using Office 03

I have a small, but nagging problem. Almost everytime I put a new e-mail
address into Excel it comes out to be a live link. So when of select it, out
pops an e-mail to that person. How do I disable that and get rid of all the
links in a particular worksheet. Thank you. Please respond to

Click Tools>AutoCorrect Options... then click the "AutoFormat As You Type"
tab, and uncheck "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks".
