PWA 2007: Change Owner in Project Details fails

Hi,

our PMO has created a project with Project Pro. Now he wants to change the
owner of the project to the project manager. When he opens the project
details dialog he can change the owner, but upon hitting the save button
nothing happens.

If he closes the dialog and reopens the dialog, the page shows still him as
owner.

Have you experienced the same issue? Is there a workaround or conditions
which causes this behaviour?

This is a known and reported bug in Project Server 2007. To work around
this problem, change the Owner AND one other value on the page and click the
Save button. Then come back to the Project Details page and change the
second value back to its original value. Hope this helps.
