PWA 2007 HOW do I add Task ID to 'My Tasks' Views?

D

Don v.v.

I have Project Server SP1 installed and working. All SP1 fixes, etc. seem to
be operational EXCEPT I cannot find a way to add Task ID to the 'My Tasks'
views - mywork.aspx and tasks.aspx.
I've tried Server Settings / manage views' - 'My Assignments' view - Task ID
is not an available field when I edit that view.
I've tried 'Site Actions / Edit Page' and do not see any way to add Task ID
there either.
Same problem for the PWA Assignment Details view - details.aspx.
Help ?!?!?

Don,

I have the Task ID in both of these views. I added the Task ID from the
Settings>Manage Views>My Work>My Assignments and Details views. The Task ID
was available for both. I have installed the Infrastructure Update so that
may be why I have them. I am not sure if they were there before because I
didn't look until just the other day when I added them.

Darrell:
Thanks for the info.
I'm about to install the Infra update so I'll let you know if that fixes it
for me.

Hi Don, for your info, i successfully added this field to the 'My
Assignments' view in a test environment that only had SP1 installed and not
the infrastructure update. The field was half way down the list called 'Task
ID [Assignment]'

One last thing sorry. You've probably checked this already but make sure the
field is not already contained in the displayed fields section as it may not
be visible on the page unless you scroll to the right. Obvious I know but
worth checking just in case. Have a good day.

The Infrastructure Update didn't fix this for me. 'Task ID' is NOT an
available field when I go to Server Settings / Manage Views and try to edit
My Work / Details view or My Work / My Assignments view.

Am I possibly missing some updated templates? SP1 installed w/o giving me
trouble, but stranger things have happened...
I'm stumped - help?

Don,

Did you ever find a fix for this? I now have a Dev server that has the Task
ID and Test server that does not and I am not sure why.

Hi

Did you try searching for the field "Unique ID [Task]"?

Cheers
Cathy
