PWA 2007 shows costs against project that are not shown in Proj. 2

One of my projects is showing costs against it in data analysis despite the
fact that when you open the actual project file there are no costs against it
(as expected) - how could this be?

Are you connecting to the correct cube ? (Seen this when running more than
one instance of PS on the same farm).

Yes, the cube seems fine. When I export the data analysis to Excel and drill
down, I see costs in the following fields:

[Assignment Timephased].[Cost]
[Assignment Timephased].[Actual Cost]
[Assignment Timephased].[Regular Cost]
