Hi - sorry i can't help - but i had the same / simillar
problem after updating SP1... i had to reinstall the whole
system!!!

look at post really urgent - from august 11th 3:06 AM

do not count at finding help here at the MS Newsgroups -
mostly basic questions are answered here - there are only
a few real experts looking over the postings here and i
believe they lack the time to really dig deep into all
problems

I have ran into this a few times and have had this work everytime.
Log into the computer under an account that did not access the previous
version of PWA then access PWA. The EULA will load once and should not be a
problem any longer.

It appears that the new browser controls are not being installed. I believe
this is because the old version cannot be uninstalled.

I thought this might be an issue with the fact that IE was open when trying
to uninstall the old version but even the manual install of the controls did
not help.

Accessint PWA with a fresh profile has yet to fail me.
