I have many users that sucsessfully use the RISK/ISSUEs. I have a couple
users that get an error when they try and go into "Edit in Datasheet" mode
from Issues.

The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the
following reasons:

- A datasheet component compatible with Windows SharePointServices is not
installed.
- Your Web browser does not support ActiveX controls.
- Support for ActiveX controls is disabled.

I have checked all of the obviouse setting in IE and ActiveX is turned on.
I am now at a loss. Any help>?

I am experiencing the same issue on some users machines. It's not a huge
problem as long as they don't use the datasheet view, but it is annoying.
Does anyone have a fix?

Since I was unable to get an answer via this site, I went ahead and paid MS
the fee to get the answer. I thought that I would share with the group.
The problem we had ran into was that we had MS OFFICE 2002 running on some
machines. The help desk at MS said that project 2003 and OFFICE 2002 had
compatibility issues. We upgraded to OFFICE 2003 and now we can edit in the
datasheet.

Thanks Tim - I appreciate you posting back to us with the solution. This has
worked on our end and is an 'official solution' as far as we're concernced.

Cheers!
Matt
