PWA Client Install Error

MSPS 2007 Sp1 w Sp1 Hotfix
Does anyone have a complete PWA client install procedures. Besides adding
the URL to the trusted site, Does a client install require running any
hotfixes or patches? I have not successfully installed the infrastructure on
the server yet or the august 2008 update. After I install the client and run
the office2007hotfix, i get an message that says no applications were
affected.
