PWA Cookies error

Andy Jones

When I try to open the PWA website from a browser which
is running IE6.0.2800 SP1, I get a message saying

You cannot be logged on because your security settings in
Internet Explorer do not allow per-session cookies.
Enable per-session cookies, and try to log on again.
(5011)

I have changed my settings in IE but have not had any
luck. If it matters my url looks something like this:

http://server_name/Projectserver

Thanks for any help!

Andy:

You don't have an underscore in your server name do you? If so, I believe
that is the cause of your problem.

Is there a work-around for this issue? We ran into this issue as we tried
to install Project Server 2002. Because of other software on our server, we
can not change the name without major hassle.

Jared:

<guess>
You might try creating a DNS entry to eliminate the underscore.
