PWA Error

sIn PWA, when you select project and go to project web space, I receive the
error message:

"the sharepoint site for this project has not been created.
Publish a project to Project Server or contact your server administrator."


Could anyone give me steps on how to correct this problem?

Hi Suz,

First check here, to make sure that project name is appearing to
create the sharepoint site:

PWA -> Admin-> Manage Windows Sharepoint Services -> Manage Sharepoint
Sites.

Look for Project, If there is no site address, click on Create Site.

Hi Chak,

I've published two projects but when I click on create site - I receive
"Error occurred when creating site. Site does not seem to exist."

Any ideas?

Hi Suz,

Please do the following:

PWA -> Admin-> Manage Windows Sharepoint Services -> Site provisioning
settings

see the option settings "Settings for Web site creation"

Here please select "Automatically create a team Web site for the
project when a project is published to Project Server"

Select the available two options under "Grant user access to the
project team Web sites."

I have the same issue as noted above - and have tried your suggestions it
still does not work.

any more ideas?

Me-too posts are usually very unproductive. If you need help, invest some
time to describe your problem and your system. Symptoms may seem similar,
but root causes often differ. You should also note that people who read the
newsgroups from Microsoft directly can only access 30 days posting history,
unlike Google and other news servers which carry the posts for years on end.
