PWA filters - HELP

When viewing my resources assignments, I am attempting to filter them
by % complete and also by finish date. We only track completion by 0%
or 100% no in between so that filter is working fine. The problem I am
having is when I try to filter by finish date. I want to view those
tasks that should finish by whatever date I choose. When I create this
filter I filter by finish/less then or equal to/ today's date. Now it
will filter them, however when I view the start date it is the same as
the finish date no matter how long the duration is. I would like to
use this view, if I can get it to work, at our weekly status meeting
to show everyone who is slacking and where, however I need to be able
to see the correct start date and finish date. Is there any way to
solve this problem??????????

OK after more searching and experimenting i have come to realize that
no matter what whenever i filter by start or finish date it always
gives the same date for both no matter what the duration of the task
is, even when i tried in project pro instead of PWA. Is there anyway
to avoid this? as stated above i need to be able to filter by end date
and see the start date as well. anybody have any ideas on this???
