PWA from client PC cannot connect to Project Server 2007

We have setup a brand new Project Server 2007 on a fresh Windows 2003 server
(SP2) . We are able to connect to project through the server but when
attempted through client machines we get prompted for user name and password.
Even after entering the correct username password it keeps prompting and
finally shows an Access Denied message.

Harshadn,

Have you tried connecting via IE ? What i could suggest is go to IE's
Options -- Security -- custom -- then at the very bottom of the list
--- select automatick logon in intranet zone. This will enable you to
Log On automatically. But by what you describe it sounds a bit more
like a permission issue, hence me suggesting loging onto pwa first.
Does the User have an account on the server AND has the user been
added to any of the default security groups ? ie . Project managers
group. Confirm this and try again.

Also be aware that the default is Windows Authentication, "project
Server Users" no longer exists in Project 2007 , but is replaced by
forms autentication. So all users would need a Domain account.

Hope this helps .
