PWA Gantt as a web-part

Yoav

Hi,
I'm working with MSP2003 Server.
How can a PWA Gantt be defined as a SharePoint web-part?
I need only the Gantt without the filters or frames.
Thanks!

Hi Yoav,

Project Server 2003 gives you a Web part already that you may be able to
use. It is called Project Detail web part. You may want to use this one.
hope this helps

I have imported the webpart "project details" onto my project workspace page.
Webpart displays Gnatt. However, project detail menu bar is active and any
user (those who have granted acess to worksapce) now can change project data
thru this web part (?)

What are the permission settings for this and how can I disable all items
that are active within the webpart ??

I for one, would only like to see the Gnatt and maybe Only activate
View:[PullDownList]

...any thoughts from others here ??

btw..Using PWA/PS07

Hi /pd,

firstly, by using the project details web part no user can change any data
within your project. The security is set via the categroies, where you can
determine who can see what project detail views.

When you include this web part on your project workspace, The webpart will
automatically default to this project so that your users can only see project
data of this project. I would suggest that you take a look onto "Edit
Webpart" which can be found on the little arrow that is beside the web part.
It is pretty self explainatry what options you have.

I hope this helps
