I'm using Project Server 2007. I'd like to control PWA Quick Launch menu and
PWA homepage (reminders) according to the Category and Global perms
associated with the groups and categories a user is a member of.

One group of users has very limited perms, I only want them to see the
Project Center view, Project view, Data Analysis, and OLAP Data views. Users
in this group cannot be assigned as a resource, and don't have tasks or
timesheets.

How can I control so they can only see Projects: project center and
Reporting: data analysis in the Quick Launch?

How can I have them not see the Reminders section and not see the Tasks,
Timesheets, Issues and Risks, and Project Workspaces of the PWA homepage? I
need to have this information available to the users/groups that have the
perms to use them.

Unfortunately for you, the menu options on the Quick Launch Menu are not
controlled by user permissions in Groups and Categories. The best you can
do is to deny them access to these features using Groups and Categories, but
you cannot hide the appropriate menu items using Groups and Categories.
