PWA Internet connection

While Internet users connect to PWA using
http://machinename.dnssuffix/projectserver to the domain
they get following error
"HTTP 401.3 - Access denied by ACL on resource
Internet Information Services."

But, when they access using http://machinename.dnssuffix
they are able to login to the domain.
On IIS I have selected Basic Authentication to the domain
& Integrated Authentication on Default Web site,
Sharepoint proxy server & Project Server.

Which setting is missing as I am getting access denied by
ACL on resource IIS???
