PWA Login failure

I have two server config: 1) MSPS 2003 SP2a and 2) SQL 2005 SP1 (upgraded
from 2000 Sp4).

When I try to connect using PWA to the MSPS server I get the following error.

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/ProjectServer/Library/LocalizedStrings.asp, line 77

However, when I connect using Project Pro 2003 everything works normally.

Can anyone help?

Are the MDAC components on the workstation up to date? If not, try updating
them.

Yes.

I removed sql 2005 SP1 and it started working again.
