PWA Project Managers - Workspace Access

Project Server 2007 w/SP2 and August CU.

When we create projects w/project workspaces in our Project Server
environment for some reason everyone in the PWA 'Project Managers' group gets
Project Manager level permissions on every workspace that is created. Is
there a way to prevent this from happening? Is this a security setting
somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated - thank you.

Yes, this is probably related to PWA security settings for your "Project
Manager" security group. The definition of the "Project Managers (Microsoft
Office Project Server)" level permission role on the workspace is "Users who
have published this project or who have Save Project permission in Microsoft
Office Project Server"

So my guess is that your "Project Manager" group has a category attached to
it that has visibility to all projects on the server and that you have the
category permission "Save Project to Project Server" enabled against that
category.
