Hi,
I have three project server implementations (Test, QA, and Production)
that have a large user base and are set up for mixed authentication
although 99% of users use Windows authentication.
All users can log in to any of the 3 instances of the server without a
problem except for one user.
This particular user seems to be able to log in because the home page
gets rendered and can navigate around the server, but the windows login
prompt appears each time she navigates to a different page. Entering
valid credentials three times in a row makes the prompt disappear.
She has the URL in the trusted sites, and the trusted sites are set up
to automatically log in with current username and password. She has
tried this from multiple workstations (windows XP and windows 2000) and
gets the same behavior. She gets the same behavior when trying to login
to any of the three instances of Project Server.
When going to a related Sharepoint web site directly does not get
prompted her for credentials, and she does not get this prompt when she
logs into the server via Project Pro 2003.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you,
Gustavo
