PWA server failed to restart after service account update

Brian Lewis

So I've inherited a sharepoint server and project web access server
installation from a previous admin who didn't take very good notes on how
he'd set up the system or administered it. All of the accounts associated
with the system are drawn from a higher level active directory account.

As part of a domain migration, the service accounts were renamed and given
new passwords. I've gone through and found all the services referencing these
accounts and updated the credentials, as well as those associated with the
IIS service. My overall sharepoint installation is now responding correctly,
I can access my user pages and administration pages successfully as can other
users.

However, the collection of projects from PWA is not available to me. When I
navigate to the link that shows the list of projects available and the
workspaces with them (/PWA/default.aspx) I receive an Error (An unexpected
error has occurred). However, if I navigate to bookmarked links for the
individual project workspaces, they are all available and responding. Simply
not the main directory page.

I've tried going through and forcing credential updates from command line
and the commands execute succesfully, the services all start properly, IIS
shows all application pools functioning.

Any ideas on where I may have missed something?

Thanks
Brian
