I want to see certain resources and their actual time on a task accross

You could use the View Resource Assignments option for this purpose. This
option is in the sidepane on the left side of the Resource Center page.
Select your resources and click Apply. Select the Timesheet option (top of
the sidepane on the left) and then collapse the sidepane. To see a specific
task, click the Filter, Group, Search tab and create a custom filter that
tests Task Name = task you want to see. Hope this helps.

I do this ongoing. I need to make this happen a few times a month to keep
track, also at the end of the month to send out a report with the information
to stakeholders. These resourses are involved with many tasks imbedded in
our projects.

Hi Dale,
I do have similar issue and I'm currently using resource assignments view.
But if I've to generate periodic report for specific group of resources
only, then how to do this? Currently I've to select users everytime I want
to generate the report.
Also I'm not able to save custom filter (to display specific
projects/tasks), so everytime I generate the report, I have to set the filter.
Looking forward to your perfact solution as always.

with all the people whose assignments you wish to see, and then click the
Save Link button on the toolbar. Give the link a name and then save it.

Sorry to bother you again.
After some great help from you, I was able to generate the desired report
successfully but today I noticed one small bug into it --> the resource
assignment
report generated from PWA shows rejected task hours also in the actual work
field. How to stop displaying rejected task work in the report? Kindly help.
Note: Sorry for posting the same problem against another thread on this
usenet group only.

Why was the work rejected? Why didn't the team member fix the rejected work
and resubmit it?

Hi Dale,
Regarding your first query, work could be rejected because user has entered
hours against completed/wrong tasks or he has entered excessive hours against
some task without any notes/clarification. There might be other resons also
to do so.
Regarding your second query, resources do fix their rejected tasks, but
project server resource assignement's report (View resource assignments)
still displays the details of the same. Means the report shows the rejected
values against the perticular tasks.
I've tested this behaviour with diff users and got the same result. Is
there any solution to fix this?

Hi Dale, Sorry my mistake. Pl. ignore my last update for the point related
to error mentioned as rejected hours get displayed. They get removed from
the details and not get display in the project.
But what if user has not fix the rejected task? is there any solution to
forcefully fix it for report generation purpose? Kindly suggest.

The View Resource Assignments page generates its date from the same tables
that stores the View My Tasks page data. Therefore, if there is a rejected
task on a user's PWA timesheet page, it will appear on the View Resource
Assignments page as well. This is not a bug and there is no fix for this.
