PWA2007: can't open a project that isn't checked in?

I have a project that was (apparently) saved but not checked in.
However, the "force check-in" server option doesn't list the project as
available to force it.

A review of the queue for the project has one (and only one) entry,
which is for 'project checkin' with 100% complete and successful.

Anyone have any suggestions to get this out of never-never land? I was
able to open it 'read only' and save/publish it under a different name,
so I don't mind if the solution will destroy the project.

Although I couldn't open it, I was finally able to get it to delete
using 'delete enterprise objects.'

Try clearing the client side cache. If doing it from within pro doesn't
work, find the directory in explorer and delete all content from there.
