I am building an application that goes to Outlook, scans email messages and
sets the unread messages to read after some processing. I'm encountering a
problem when the application sets the status to 'unread'; the GUI shows them
as still unread leaving my program in a loop.
I've discovered that when it happens, I need to shut down the Outlook GUI
application and the running Outlook.exe program then restart and it behaves
for a little while.
Can anyone tell my why this is happening and how to make it stop happening?
