I am fairly new to project and after evaluating for a few weeks I am down to
a junction point.
I have data to create projects and also data to update actuals already in
another database that gets populated by 2 other programs.
I want to create a project database with this and then enter actuals
automatically.
(sometimes extra tasks are added later also)
I was thinking of creating macros to do these 2 tasks and run them
periodically to update project.
or
I could somehow update the project database directly when the original
database is added to my other databases (which appears much more difficult
to do given the complexity of the project database)
can someone steer me in the better direction here?
I am not opposed to hiring outside help, but I want to know what I am
getting into since the whole operation is rather small and I dont have a
large budget.
