Q: 'Word is wating for Access to accept DDE commands'

Using word and Access 2000.

I do a mail merge against an access database and every now
and then I get the error that I wrote up as the subject.
Seems like the only way around the error is to restart the
computer.

Can anyone give some detail as to what may be causing this
error and if there's a better way to fix it other than
restarting? Is this more of an Access issue than a Word
issue?
