QBF Query by Form- more than 2 tables?

Hi,

I currently have a QBF which runs using a query across 2 tables. I would
ideally like to create a really awesome search page where someone can refine
their search across 8 fields which come from a total of 5 tables but it
doesn't seem to work.

Is there a 2 table limit on the QBF technique? If there isn't can someone
explain to me how to create a query which will search across 5 tables?

Thank you!

Open Northwind

Select the query Invoices, but no need to open it (while you can in design
mode to see that it is a query based on 6 tables).

Click the Autoform button, in the standard toolbar, to create a form based
on that query.

QBF should work, is it not?

I suspect the criteria itself being in trouble, and probably not that there
is more than 2 tables, mainly if the criteria is complex, and imply an OR,
as you mentioned.

I am actually using the Query By Form technique outlined by Microsoft at:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304428

My query looks like this: [Forms]![QBF_Form]![WhatShip] Or
[Forms]![QBF_Form]![WhatShip] Is Null

It is then linked to a seperate form (my search form) via a macro. It
works
for 2 tables but wont bring up results for searching by 3 or more
criteria.
