QBF Question - Split DB - Keep Query On Back end

Hello,

I was hoping for a was to keep my data from transferring to the f/e (end
users computer), when he/she uses the f/e to creathe a query. To give a
little backround of what is going on, These is a very large set of data, the
qbf would reduce this, then what I need to do is put certain occurences
(blank Vs. Not blank for example) over the total sample size after reduced by
the query to give me a percentage number. These percentages for selected
fields Are the only thing that needs to go back to the end user, not the rest
of the data. Thi file will be heavily used, is ~40 MB and a lot of the
queries will select more than 3/4 of the data which is why I want to keep
most everything on the server side and leave it to return only the 30 or so
percentages/decimals that I need? Any Ideas? Any Clarification Needed?

Access is not a client-server database. All processing is done on the
client (f/e). To do that, you would need to upgrade to SQL Server or MSDE.
