Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Downloaded the quiz show template but can not get the correct answer to appear in a different placeholder. I am giving a seminar May 16-18 and the animation would be great for the final exam. Can someone provide me with the steps to change the correct answer location on subsequent slides.

Hi Dan,

There are hundreds of quiz show templates out there. It's hard for us to
help you unless you tell us which one you chose.

It is the one currently shown on the office 2008 template home page.

Got it!

Thank you.

OK, this is delivered as a PowerPoint template. When you open the
template do the following:
Open PowerPoint
Use File > Open and in the Format box switch it to the option that has
PowerPoint Template on it.

That should open the presentation. You can then run the slide show to
get a feel how the this presentation works.

To make your own slides, Insert a new slide and then go to the Elements
Gallery and choose one of the question formats.

Jim,

I got to that point. What I can't do is get the template to allow me to change the placeholder for the correct answer rather than them all coming up with the same correct option.

Hi,

Well, it depends upon the kind of question you are making.

There are two different true/false layouts. One has True as the correct
answer, the other one has False.

On the multiple choice layout is says: "Click to add a correct answer
and then re-arrange the choices." The top one is the correct answer,
the rest are incorrect, and you drag the answers up and down to re-order
them.

And so on... each layout tells you the instructions.

Remember, don't double-click the template to open it. Use File>Open or
put it into your My Templates folder and open it using File > Project
Gallery.
