How come my report first page there is always a big blank before rest of the
record but after the first page of report, other records all display nicely
together? I change most of the properties but it does not help.

Hello there,

It sounds like you have a large Report Header section.
This only appears at the top of the first page.

Try and decrease the section in the design view of the
report.

Hope this helps

Still cannot. The big hole is in between First Record In the detail section
and Second Record In The detail section. I try to pack the report but the
big space still there. After the second records, the spacing become normal.

Try to temporarily set the background color of each section to a different
color so that you can determine the source of the spacing.

I have set Page Header -> White, Detail -> Red, Record Footer -> Blue, Page
Footer -> Brown. I found out that the spacing that occur in page one is white
in between record 1 and record 2 of the page. Record 3 onward is back to
normal. For page 2 onward, all are back to normal, there is no spacing at
all. Strange.

Sighx. I re-created the Reports but the blank spacing for first records still
occur. Think have to find another method to do the report.

There isn't any blank records found in my table? Strange.... is there any
way to bypass it? like generate report first page empty? How can it be done?
Sighx.

That is quite true. But I really don't know where the problem could be.I
used page header, detail, field footer, page footer. I will try to find out
more. :)
