I've used Microsoft Access to link to tables in my SQL server using a
datasouce called 'MyDataSource'. Inside of Access I've created queries that
manipulate the data the way I need it. From Microsoft Excel I would like to
import the query data from Microsoft Access. When I go to Excel and link to
the Access query I get the message that says "ODBC -connection to
'MyDataSource' failed". I assume this is because 'MyDataSource' is what
Access uses to connect to the SQL server and it is not "logging on" to the
datasource when Excel tries to link to the query. How can I get around this?
