I am attempting a Theta join, but either getting records from both tables or
no records. I have checked the source table and know that the desired records
exist. Can anyone advise?

I've never heard of a Theta Join until today. Anyway, look at this example:

You might want to explain what you mean by a Theta join. I think you mean
what I refer to as a non-equi join.

Could you post an example SQL statement that isn't working and explain what
you are attempting to do. What results you want.
