Query Auto Refreshing????

I have a complex query that takes several seconds to compute. Every time I
move the window that it is in it seems to recalculate itself. Is there any
way to stop this behaviour please.

Yes - in fact it is when I move another window over the window displaying
the query. It looks as though the query is recalculating as it redraws the
data in the window.

Can I 'turn off' the recalc like in Excel??
