I have a C-ISAM database in Unix that I need to query
regularly to update a table in an Access 97 database.
Currently I do this with Excel (through MS Query) and
then import the data into an Access table, but this is
cumbersome, besides of which the number of records will
soon outgrow Excel's ability to handle it in a single go.
Knowing that Access supports ODBC queries I am attempting
to remove Excel from the picture. But creating the query
is proving difficult, and the Access help file is
somewhat light on the topic.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
