Query Search or the ADO Search

Anyone have information on how I can setup a Query ro ADO
Search, I want to capture the search field when people do
a search on my web site.

Create a new field in the db (searchRresults) then have
the form update (post to the db)the database.

I am currently using the frontpage component search I
would need to create an ADO Search to do that first
correct
