query with max

in my query i have a price field and i am trying to get maximum price but i
can;t make it work any idea

in your design view of query, look for field group by. if it is not visible
click on view and then on totals. this will add group by field to your query
fields. now scroll down and select max for your price field. This will give
you max price. if it helps you let me know.
