Question about accepting tasks

Hi Gurus!

Does anybody know what will happen when a resource needs to approve a task
that has been assigned to a superior level in the RBS?

If you mean that a person at a lower level assigning a task to a person
on an upper level of the RBS then nothing will happen. Approvals of
timesheets are not linked in any way to the RBS structure.

Timesheet approvals, as a function of a Project Manager, is linked to the
Assignment and not the RBS, therefore a PM can approve or reject timesheets
submitted by anyone designated as on a project team (by an assignment).

If you are referring to an overall timesheet approval as a "corporate"
administrative function then your scenario will not work. The RBS does come
into play for this because it is the RBS that defines the organization and
who reports to whom. A lower level person cannot "see" the timesheet of a
higher level person and therefore cannot approve or reject.
