Question about Custom Fields in the My tasks (My assignment view) page, project server 2007

Hello,

I've created and inserted some task fields into the my assignment view
in the my tasks page. The columns show but the data is all blank.
How do I get the data from the schedule in project to show in the my
tasks page when I publish? I know with 2003 you had to customize
published fields and add them, but I don't believe thats an option in
2007. Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Have you opened and republished the relevant projects in Project
Professional 2007 (File - Publish)? Let us know.

I republished yet again. I'm using a task level custom field with the
type being text. I am using a lookup table with 3 options. In my
project schedule I choose values for all of these tasks. Save and
publish. When I go into my tasks and use the assignment view the
values are all blank for this column. I can choose a value, but they
are blank when I enter. How can I get this to show the values that
are published instead of it being blank?

In your custom field definition ensure "Calculation for assignment
Rows" is set to "Roll Down" and republish

Is ther a way to make the changes go the other way? I mean how can a change
made to a custom field in the assignement view be published back to the
schedule in MS Project Pro?

My case is a flag that indicate that a maintenance task is ready for
inspection. I want the Worker to change the flag in My Task and the Scheduler
to see all task ready for inspection in its schedule in MS Project.
