I have a number of rules set to permanently delete spam mail according to
subject, sender and body.
With Outlook XP, when new mail arrived that satisfied one of these rules it
was deleted and the envelope icon down on the task bar was displayed. If I
then just clicked on any email in my Inbox the envelope icon was cleared.
With Outlook 2003, the same things happen except the envelope icon stays
displayed on the taskbar no matter what.
Any ideas how to rectify this or get around it?
