Hi all...
I have a question about formatting line numbers in MS Word 2003/SP 1.
A user has enabled Line Numbers across the document (File | Page Setup
| Layout | Line Numbers... button).
I 'd like to format the Line Numbers independently of the body text...
Format | Styles and Formatting... | Select "Line Numbers" in "Pick
formatting to apply", then Modify.
However I get an error which says style not in use. Receiving that
error seems odd because if "Line Numbers" is not activated from the
Page Setup dialog, then "Line Numbers" never even appears in "Styles
and Formatting" in the first place. And in this case, Line Numbers
does indeed appear in the list of styles on the right hand side of the
screen.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
