Question about Importing?

Randy

I am converting an Approach db to Microsoft Access 2000. One field
that is in the Approach db is a Yes/No field that has the text "Yes" or
"No". In the Access program I want to use the Yes/No check box field.

I notice in the table it only has a check box when I create the Yes/No
field in Access.

Will I have a problem importing the yes and no's from the Approach db
when I try to import?

If so what will I need to do different?

Try it. If you do then use a work table. Often when importing non-Access data
you need to first import into a preliminary table with whatever datatypes
produces an error free import and then use append queries to move the data from
that table to the final table using expressions in the append query to make the
desired conversions.

You've asked an Approach question of Access types. What Approach puts
into a yes/no field is for you to find out? Once you know that you
will probably be able to solve your own problem but, if not, you'll be
able to ask a proper question.
