question about MS WORD and doing a slide show?

Hi, I dont have Powerpoint, but was wondering if its possible to do a
presenation or make slides ? someone mentioned that its possible to not
creat a pp presentation but something similar, can you please explain

You could do the text in Word for someone else to put into PPT.

Or perhaps the person was talking about printing a PDF of the Word
document -- PDFs can go full-screen, so in that respect, they are like slide
shows. I can't remember for sure, but I think you can do page transitions,
too.

Well, I guess you just put your text in Word and then display Word on the
projector.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you don't understand how to do.

About all you can do is set page setup to Landscape, make the contents
of each page resemble the "slide" you want to "show", and then do a
PageDown to "run" thru the "slides"
