Question about Office 2007 Install.

Has anyone chosen the "Keep Existing Versions" option when installing Office
2007? My question is does it keep the original shortcuts for Office 2003 in
tact in the Start Menu?

Also when doing the install is it better to choose a different directory
like c:\Program Files\Office 2007 (create a new directory) instead of
installing 2007 files into c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office default
directory. I would assume there might be problems installing into the
existing directory.d

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office is not the default, since 2002, Office
installs to a version specific folder
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11 for 2003
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 for 2007

Your shortcuts should specify eg Excel 2003 so I believe they are retained,
only the single instance of Outlook can be installed
