Question about Word 2003

Jeff Needle

I'm on a WinXP box, using Word 2003.

I'm puzzled -- didn't Word used to have an option to see the names of
recently opened documents? I'd thought it was part of the File menu,
but I can't seem to find it, and can't find any place where this can be
turned on and off.

Can someone help? Thanks.

Cancel the request. I found the setting using TweakUI that was causing
the problem.

Thanks.

the problem.

What was it?

At other times, I might have done the same.
Tools\Options\General\Recently used file list
is a control for less technical users.
