question - drawing and photos

Hi - my mom swears she took a photo and drew and oval shape over it and the
photo snapped into the shape of the oval. It was about three years ago. She
says she did it in Word. Can this be done? I've never heard of such a thing.

She isn't remembering quite how she did it. Insert the oval, then use the
photo for "fill." Click on the Fill Color button on the Drawing toolbar and
choose Fill Effects, then select the Picture tab and browse to your picture.
